My sympathy and prayers go to all the family of Janet... I accidentally saw Janet's name in the Globe as my dad's orbit was on the same page... We lived four houses down from Janet on Minnesota Ave and I went to elementary school with Janet and Tommy... I will always remember her as a good friend growing up on the avenues... I've lost track of the family in the last years as we move on.. but she holds a special place in my earlier years.. I am so sorry for your loss and know Janet is in a better place.. my heart goes out to the family who I'm sure will feel the void.

so sorry to read about Janet's death. I read the Globe every day even though I live in Florida. Remembering Janet is remembering our childhood in Somerville, and our friendship when our kids were small in Everett. I'm so very sorry for your loss, and I feel deeply saddened.
