Dear Cousin Lois and all your family,
I know this is a late message, but I just learned of my beloved uncle's passing today during an internet search. He will always be a gem in my heart.
Much love to you all.

Uncle,
You always took an interest in my professional and personal life. The times at 14 Wallace Rd will always be memorable for me. While you're not here on this earth physically, I know you are in my heart.
Say hi to Aunt Rya for me and tell her I am holding her to our backgammon re-match.
Love always,

Remembering Nate
With the voice of a lion and the heart of a lamb
Family and machines are what drove this man.
A broken light switch, a leak or a crack
was reason for Nathan to set his attack
Returning from work just after seven
His usual sirloin was a bit of heaven
Most any night returning from the yard,
You’d find Nate and Rya playing cards.
After dinner canasta or hearts were on tap
Where Lois and I would often get trapped
Always an optimist and determined as well
Even with losses of loved ones who fell
Nothing made him happier than his grandkids, all four
And most recently with Alexis who he so much adored
Papa I think my radiator has a leak,
Bring it right over, let’s take a peek
At age 85 you’d often find Nate
under a car no matter what make
“Dorothy lets take a ride, no matter how far”
For Nate was at home while driving his car
Dinner in Gloucester or Laconia for a day
“This car’s a honey!” you’d hear him say
His gas tank would always be half full or more
And that’s how he viewed life, we know for sure
to this great man family always came first
we will follow your example for better or worse
We’ll miss you Nate now that you’re at rest
And be assured, our hero, that you are the best.

Uncle Nate,
You were an inspiration and role model for me my entire life. And for the last forty years, you were my second father. You are deeply missed and will always be lovingly remembered.
