ALLING, Peter S. 80, May 16, 2017 of Marlborough, MA, formerly of Boxborough, MA. Survived by two sons, John S. Alling and wife Linda of Durham, NC, David E. Alling of Boxborough, MA; a daughter, Jane A. Bresnahan and husband Edward of Sudbury, MA. Also survived by his three grandchildren, Meredith, Thomas and Robert Alling, all of Durham, NC along with his brother, Guy E. Alling Jr. and wife Barbara of Pawleys Island, SC. Born in Gardner, MA, son of the late Guy E. Alling Sr. and Catherine H. (Hemmerly) Alling. A1954 graduate of Athol High School who later received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Bates College, Lewiston, ME in 1958. He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard, honorably discharged in 1964. Retired Salesman for the Haartz Corporation. Visiting hours at the Acton Funeral Home, 470 Massachusetts Ave. (Rt 111), ACTON, MA 01720 will be held on Friday, May 19th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at Carolina Memorial Park, Kannapolis, NC at a later date.
