I had the privelage to work with AJ and give him a helping hand around the house. My parents had worked and cared for both his mother and father. I had the opportunity to know mr.Jick and to put a smile on his face every time I'd see him, and vise versa, seeing him happy to see me made me just as happy. Before cleaning his closet and donating some of his mothers beautiful scarfs and hats, he allowed me to keep a few and also gave me a few antique celtics shirts of his. I will hold all of that close to me as a little piece of Andy.

Thinking of my sweet cousin Andy with deep affection and sadness. To Todd, Danny and Theo...
How difficult Andy's passing must be for you.
I was not able to be at the service but spoke to our cousin Nancy and she described the out-poring of friends, colleagues and family and the wonderful eulogies they gave. We have lost him too early. Much love to you all.

Andy was the first professional PAA that BC hired. As fans we were very lucky to have his services for so many years. I enjoyed talking to Andy at the baseball games, he really enjoyed following the team. My sympathies on your loss.

I'm devastated. What people tend to forget is that he cut his teeth in broadcasting at Brandeis University. He was the manager and announcer for the Brandeis basketball team from 1970 to 1974. I was on the basketball team and Andy and I became fast friends as freshman. Andy and I were roommates during our sophomore year. I couldn't have had a better friend or roommate. He will be greatly missed by me, and I'm sure the rest of the Brandeis basketball team from that era. Rest in peace my friend. My condolences to all of his family.

Andy, I am heart broken to hear of your passing. I was all ready to make your favorite cookies (oatmeal, craisin & walnut) or another special request of veggie lasagna for your upcoming birthday this week... and was so looking forward to your annual visit to Timberland. I will always cherish our friendship and hold each memory of you dear to my heart. Rest in Peace Andy.

I met Andy twenty years ago and we became instant friends.
I admired how Andy was able to live life on life's terms. His
devotion to family and especially the love he had for his mother.
I would go to the Boston College Hockey and Basketball games
just to hear Andy do the announcing. I will miss his big smile
and laughter. Andy you were not just liked by many you were Loved
by all who knew you.
