I send my prayers and thoughts to the Henneberry family. Three years ago, David helped law enforcement take a highly dangerous terrorist off the streets! I was in tears when I saw the news and learned about David's part in the capture! Because of David's heroic actions, Boston is now safe! May he rest in peace! God Bless you David!

May everyone find peace and joy that he is reunited with Beth and cherish the memories they have with him. I remember years ago Dave calling me up and mentioning that he was looking for a 13' Boston Whaler to play with on the Charles. I told him I knew where there was one. It would be a project but would be fun to restore. So he met me late one fall night in Pembroke and we took a walk out into the back woods where the hull lay upside down under a pile of pine needles. He just looked at me and said "I don't know about this. This may be more than I can handle." I said "Dave trust me. I'll give you a hand and we will have this thing looking like brand new." So after a little more knudging, I convinced him and we flipped it back over onto its trailer, grabbed all the parts and engine that was sitting in this friends garage and we hauled it out. Him and I spent a few months together and not only completely repainted the entire boat, but re-rigged it. He spent weeks doing over the varnish work and before you know it he had a brand new boat. I still remember the smile on his face when we finished it. He was a great guy and will be missed by so many. Hopefully that Whaler can live on with his memory.

Thank you to a man who courageously took the time and effort to uncover the Marathon Bomber before more lives or injuries were incurred.
Never met or knew you, but your action touched many during a horrific time. It was with great relief to know that part of the tragedy was over.
Sad for the family and friends who knew and loved this good man.
