PANGBURN, Nathaniel Alden Hoover, "Nate" 26, of Newton, February 1, 2013. Loving son of Claudia W. Hoover of Newton and David A. Pangburn of Harvard. Dear brother of Margaret and Liv Pangburn of Newton. Grandson of Elizabeth and the late Clarence Pangburn and the late Margaret and Harold Hoover. Grand nephew of Robert and Irene Wright of Needham. A Memorial Gathering in Celebration of Nate's life will be held in the Eaton and Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Centre St, NEWTON CORNER on Saturday, February 16th from 1-3 PM, concluding with Words of Remembrance at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in Nate's memory may be made to MSPCA Angell Memorial Animal Hospital (mspcaangell.org)Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Graduate of Newton North High School Class of 2004. In his life, Nate enjoyed anything having to do with the outdoors: He hiked the Rockies and the Appalachians, sailed on the Cape and swam everywhere. He was an avid reader of literature, history, philosophy and politics. He enjoyed playing and listening to music. He made delicious desserts and bread. Nate was devoted to animals and generous to all small children in his midst.
