Dear Dr. and Mrs. Pinsky,
I just learned of Aaron's passing. Please accept my sincere condolences, even a year later. I was moved to tears by the line in the newspaper article that his performance on From the Top was a highlight of his musical career. I loved having Aaron in the octet, and he clearly loved being there. His musical insights were always thoughtful, intelligent, and often amusing. He was a leader, and a real colleague and supporter to the other students. More than a good student, he was an exceptional human being. I wish I had been able to stay in touch with him after high school, but I feel fortunate to have known him. I will always remember his kindness as a person and his generous contributions to our efforts as an ensemble.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Pinsky, Rachel, and Eleanor,
I have never had any connection with Aaron or his family until today, when I found the program for his memorial service in Concord Center. It mesmorized me. As I glanced through the pictures inside, I could tell that Aaron was someone special, that he had a great life. You must all be so proud.
My mother is struggling with a brain tumor at the moment, and so I can relate to the pain you must have felt when you found out of his disease. Please stay strong, I'm sure thats what Aaron would have wanted. And remember that God took him for a reason, He has a plan.
God Bless you all,
Terilyn Eisenhauer

Aaron was a part of my life for almost 15 years. We met at Nashoba the summer of 1996, and he was a very integral part of my life for several years. I love him deeply as a friend, and it makes my heart heavy to know that he has lost his battle. He was such a wonderful person, and it saddens me that I had not had the opportunity to see him since he got sick. This quote has helped me, and I hope it brings you some small amount of peace in this difficult time: "Seashells remind us that every passing life leaves something beautiful behind"

to Ellie, and Aaron's parents and sister,
your colleagues at Boston Children's Museum send their warmth, and friendship at this difficult time. We made a small contribution in Aaron's memory to Dana Farber, and were all relieved to know you felt the care and attention there were so high quality, and know they will continue to research the best treatments and cures.
Best, et, anthony, hellen, chris, bridget, and everyone else on sunday staff.

As the mother of one of his housemates, I had the privilege of getting to know Aaron, and of seeing the love and devotion of his large circle of friends. I knew about Aaron's love of sports and comedy and texting, because he shared that with my sons----but I didn't know he played the French horn! I was so delighted to see that Aaron participated in "From the Top," which is one of my favorite radio shows.
Aaron was such a wonderful young man, who lived every moment of his life with such zest, intelligence, and courage. I am so happy I knew him.
My deepest condolences to Aaron's family, fiancee, and friends. May his soul be sheltered in the embrace of eternity, and may his memory forever be a blessing.

Dr. Pinsky, Mrs. Pinsky, and Rachel,
Please accept my deepest sympathies for you and your family at this time of loss. Although it has been over ten years since Aaron was at the middle school, I have fond memories of him. It is so hard to learn of the passing of a former student yet wonderful to hear how much Aaron did with his life. May you all find some comfort in your memories.
