93, of Framingham formerly of Newton and Needham died peacefully surrounded by her family on Aug. 4, 2008. Devoted wife of the late Walter F. Murphy. Loving mother of Dorothy M. Egan and her husband Brendan of Wayland; Janet E. Brown of Framingham and Philip D. Murphy and his wife Tammy of Middletown, New Jersey and the late Walter F. Murphy Jr. Mother-in-law of Charlene A. Murphy of Natick. Beloved grandmother of Rachel Latessa and her husband David; Sarah Murphy; Caroline Egan; Sean Egan; Tara Egan Harris and her husband Fred; Meg E. Bracken and her husband Kevin; Joshua Murphy; Emmanuelle Murphy; Charles Murphy, Samuel Murphy and the late Amy E. Brown. Cherished great-grandmother of Sophie, Benjamin and Zachary Latessa and Peter Bracken. Sister of the late Mary Bertsch, John Dunton, Ruth McMahon and Robert Dunton. Visitations on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the John C. Bryant Funeral Home, 56 Pemberton Rd (Off Route 30), WAYLAND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, Aug. 8, 2008 at 10:00 am at the Holy Family Chapel at St. Patrick's Manor, 863 Central St, Framingham, MA. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery in Waltham. For those who desire, memorial gifts in her memory to Our Lady Help of Christians Parish, 573 Washington St, Newton, MA 02458. would be appreciated.

We had the honor of meeting her at Dave & Rachel's wedding and it was so obvious how important her family was to her.
