Esther Goldberg Obituary

GOLDBERG, Esther Stahl A quiet and fiercely self-sufficient spirit with an enormous heart which held her daughter Miriam at its center. She was a devoted sister to Alice and the late Jenny and Frances and aunt to Joan, Judi and Bobby. She embraced her role as surrogate grandmother to Rachel, Frannie, Max and Nadia with limitless love. Her life was enriched by her love of the sea, mysteries, opera, dogs and tiger lilies. Friends and family mourn her sudden passing. Services on Friday, June 19, 2009 at 2:00pm at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 1668 Beacon St, BROOKLINE. Please do not send flowers.
