Frank DiCesare Obituary

DiCESARE, Frank A. Of Melrose, age 86 years, entered into rest on June 15, 2009. Beloved husband of 62 years of Lucille (Cella). Devoted father of Richard, of Melrose, Diane Pitt, of Glencoe, IL, and Dennis, of Chiang Rai, Thailand. Lovingly survived by grandchildren Nicholas and Kristen, Ryan and Eric, Timothy, Danielle, and Andrew. Blessed with great grandchildren Michelle, Lindsay, Anthony and Paul. Proud WWII Veteran of the US Coast Guard, serving in the Pacific and retired MBTA laborer and loyal member of Laborers Union Local 22. He lived his life with love, honor, and appreciation for his family and friends, his country and his beloved New York Yankees. The funeral service to celebrate Frank's life will be held at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main Street, in Wakefield on Saturday, June 20, at 10am. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made in Frank's memory to Hallmark Health Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice, 178 Savin St. Suite 300, Malden, MA 02148.
