Harold Bolitho Obituary

BOLITHO, Harold Of Lexington, Professor Emeritus of Japanese History in the Department of East Asian Languages and Civilizations at Harvard University, died Saturday, October 23, after a long illness. Harold Bolitho leaves his wife Sharon Ladd, and three children, James of Lexington, Harold and Emily of Melbourne and five grandchildren. The funeral will be on November 2, at 5 p.m. in Appleton Chapel of The Memorial Church, Harvard Yard. A reception will immediately follow the funeral in the Lee Gathering Room (S030), Japan Friends of Harvard Concourse Level, CGIS South Building, 1730 Cambridge Street, Cambridge. Final resting place will be in Connecticut. Ladd-Turkington & Carmon Funeral Home, has care of the arrangements.
