Harry M. Angelus

ANGELUS, Harry M. Of Westwood and Palm Beach FL, died June 17th 2009. Beloved husband to Tess (Coste) Angelus for 61 years. Loving father of Helayne Angelus and her husband Michael Friedman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Michael Angelus and his wife Andrea Cole of Norwood and Luke Angelus and his wife Darah of Medfield. Devoted grandfather of Mariel and Zachary Friedman and Corey, Alexa and Luke Jr. Angelus. Brother of Angela Laitta of Hull, Mary Sperounis of Dracut and the late Eda Webster and Stella Donovan. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Holden, Dunn and Lawler Funeral Home, 55 High Rock St. (off Route 109) WESTWOOD on Sunday, June 21st from 4-8pm. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Monday morning June 22nd at 11am in St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 57 Brown St., Weston, MA 02493. Interment with military honors at New Westwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry's memory to St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church at the address indicated above or to the Hospice of the Good Shepherd, 2042 Beacon St., Newton, MA 02468. Harry graduated from Boston University with a Bachelors and Masters Degree. He was a Foreign Service Officer with service in Washington DC, Athens, Greece and Nassau, Bahamas. He spent many years in academic administration at Boston University, Brandeis University and Hellenic College. He was a retired real estate developer and a U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran of WWII.
