HORRIGAN, Marguerite M. "Peg" (Feeney) Of South Weymouth formerly of Quincy & South Boston, age 88, June 19, 2009. Beloved wife of 60 years to John H. Horrigan. Devoted mother of Marguerite M. "Peggy" Coleman married to Dr. Daniel E. of Andover, John "Jack" Horrigan married to Janet Ryan of Amherst, Anne M. Donovan married to Michael of Dover and Jeanne M. Horrigan married to Edward Mone of Amherst. Loving sister of Paul and William Feeney both of Canton, Robert and Joseph Feeney, both of Squantum, Eleanor Mahoney of Hingham, the late Edward and Leo Feeney, the late Ruth Sullivan and the late Dorothy Mulcahy. Also survived by 12 loving grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main St. (Rte 18 opp. South Shore Hospital) Monday at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass to follow in the St. Francis Xavier Church at 11:00. Relatives and friend are invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday afternoon 2:00-6:00 PM. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. In lieu of flowers family has asked that memorial donations in Peg's name be made to either the Poor Clare Monastary, Jamica Plain, MA or the St. Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth, MA. In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

Dear Jack & family:Please accept my heartfelt sympathy.Peg was always special to me,my fondest memories were when we lived on Washington St.I would go to her house from school,Peg would make home-made pudding,it would still be warm with a bit of milk on top.Peggy & I would watch Arthur Godfrey's Talent Scouts,and sing along w/the"Wire Sisters"(that's what we called them0.Through the years she remained solid thru deaths and other family functions.
