Mrs EFGoldman, my sincere condolences. In blog comments sections from 2003 to his final illness, Peter (as he turns out to have been) was a vital, clever sparring partner & comrade. He will be missed. Thank you for letting him fool around on the internet all these years. I like to think that my dad, had he lived into the online age & his 60s, would have had as much to contribute as your husband did. May his memory be a blessing.

Peter was truly one of the great original voices for classical music in Boston. I had the pleasure of working with him for nearly 12 years at WCRB. He had a wide-ranging interest in the diversity of classical music and an engaging on-air presence. He also had integrity in programming, playing rarely heard works that deserved more exposure.
He was also a devoted family man, and I am glad to read that he and Marilyn experienced the pleasures of grandchildren together. He left us too soon.
I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He is missed by me and so many in his WCRB family.
In deepest sympathy,
Mary Ann Nichols Hubbard
