11 years and you continue to cross our mind and our hearts Phil. I hope you are at peace and spreading joy elsewhere. Barbara I hope you are at peace, and have found joy. Still no other cider or orchard compares. Great memories.

We loved our yearly pilgrimage to vist Phil and enjoy the bounties of his hard work, cider and apples. We were so sorry to hear of his passing. We planted an apple seed in his memory and 10 years later, today, (4/25/2023) it is showing its first ever blooms. Thank you, Phil, once again. May you rest in peace.

We miss the cider man and the festival of apples cider and pies he created on our street; he took great care of our orchard spraying our fruit trees; I think often of him; a pity he left us... he is missed

We were planning our annual trip to Phil's place, and found out the sad news. We met Phil through a friend over 30 years ago, and then when he started his apple business brought our young kids and friends for a seasonal picnic in the orchard. Phil was a friendly and wonderful person and our belated condolences go out to Barbara and his family. Best cider Phil!

My children and I go every year to Phil's Apples, we absolutely loved the Rymshas our hearts were broken upon hearing the horrible news, by another picker. It will never be the same there. It seemed a sad place. No more honey or bees, no more Phil pressing his awards winning cider. A empty lonely feeling came over me. He will be so missed. So, so missed. Rest in peace to the nicest of all men.

We made our annual pilgrimage to Phil's today and were saddened to learn of his passing. When our children were young, our visit to Phil's was always a highlight of Fall. He always let the kids work the apple press. Phil was nothing less than Johnny Appleseed come to life. Our deepest sympathies to his whole family.

What a shock to hear of his passing. We too always look forward to seeing him and Barbara each and every fall. We couldn't wait to introduce our daughter to them and start a new tradition with her there. Phil really was such a kind person. His cider was truly the best and no other compares. What a nice generous couple that represented the best of apple country...They always felt like old friends. I'm sure this fall will be extremely hard for Barbara. Our hearts go out to you and we wish you the very best. So sorry Barbara. Until we see you again Phil...Love the Ohanesians

This past weekend we drove past Phil's Orchard, and then learned of his passing. Phil was a genuine gem, a wonderful guy. You couldn't help but see and hear the love he had for his home & orchard. We looked forward each year to visiting our favorite orchard (at least a few times each year) and see Phil. Our hearts go out to you and your family. He will be fondly remembered.

I was shocked to learn of the passing of my dear friend, Phil. We spent so much time talking on Chapaquoit Beach in West Falmouth over the past 25 years and at his home in Harvard, as well. My son, Taylor and I will sorely miss his presence in our lives. He was one of the most gentle and down-to-earth souls I have ever met. I am so deeply sorry Barbara and Fred. You will remain in my thoughts.

Phil was a unique person dedicated to those who loved apples and nature; he was very helpful to me personally in understanding apple orchard care. My condolences to his family. I was shocked to learn of his passing while calling to once again ask for his assistance with my orchard this year.
