Not sure what to say?

11 years and you continue to cross our mind and our hearts Phil. I hope you are at peace and spreading joy elsewhere. Barbara I hope you are at peace, and have found joy. Still no other cider or orchard compares. Great memories.

We loved our yearly pilgrimage to vist Phil and enjoy the bounties of his hard work, cider and apples. We were so sorry to hear of his passing. We planted an apple seed in his memory and 10 years later, today, (4/25/2023) it is showing its first ever blooms. Thank you, Phil, once again. May you rest in peace.

Fred still cries and will never understand how this happened.

We miss the cider man and the festival of apples cider and pies he created on our street; he took great care of our orchard spraying our fruit trees; I think often of him; a pity he left us... he is missed

Fred still cries.........

We were planning our annual trip to Phil's place, and found out the sad news. We met Phil through a friend over 30 years ago, and then when he started his apple business brought our young kids and friends for a seasonal picnic in the orchard. Phil was a friendly and wonderful person and our belated condolences go out to Barbara and his family. Best cider Phil!

My children and I go every year to Phil's Apples, we absolutely loved the Rymshas our hearts were broken upon hearing the horrible news, by another picker. It will never be the same there. It seemed a sad place. No more honey or bees, no more Phil pressing his awards winning cider. A empty lonely feeling came over me. He will be so missed. So, so missed. Rest in peace to the nicest of all men.

We made our annual pilgrimage to Phil's today and were saddened to learn of his passing. When our children were young, our visit to Phil's was always a highlight of Fall. He always let the kids work the apple press. Phil was nothing less than Johnny Appleseed come to life. Our deepest sympathies to his whole family.

We were so sorry to make our annual 25 year trek to Phil's today and to find out he had passed. We will miss his friendliness and hospitality He always remembered us from year to year - a very special guy. And we loved his cider making! Our deepest sympathies to his family.
