RICHARD G. BARNARD

BARNARD, Richard G. 74, of St. Petersburg, FL passed away Monday, August 17, 2015 at home after a lengthy illness. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Geraldine Barnard; and daughter Susan Anne Barnard. Richard was the former Executive Vice President/ Treasurer of GTR Manufacturing Corp in Brockton. He was also a former President of the Institute of Management Accountants-Mass. Route 128 Chapter. He enjoyed golf and played several times a week prior to his illness. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Nola (Connolly); a son Richard Barnard (Carol) of Jacksonville, FL and two daughters; Debra Hickey of Wareham, MA and Sheryl McDonough (Michael) of St. Petersburg, FL; four grandchildren, Jessica and Benjamin Barnard, and Lynn and Megan McDonough; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas (Louise) Barnard of Brockton, brother Frederick Barnard of Holbrook, and sister-in-law Debra Barnard of Bridgewater; sister and brother-in-law Evelyn (Ronald) Johnson of Yarmouth, MA and sister-in-law Ann Maguire of Myrtle Beach, SC; along with many beloved nephews, nieces, close family and friends. A Funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, August 29th at Christ the King Church in Brockton, MA followed by internment in Calvary Cemetery.
