Sue and I lived two houses away from each other for almost thirty years and she was a wonderful neighbor. I remember when I first moved in she had a get together to introduce a few of us who were new to the area to each other. Her thoughtfulness continued throughout the years. She was kind and considerate and would give me a call every now and then just to say hi. She was always informed and level headed whenever I asked for her opinion about an issue affecting our homes, our street or all of Wayland. Her daughter, Shari, babysat for my children when they were young. She was caring and responsible and it was obvious that she was well taught by her mother. I always appreciated Sue's good sense of humor. My deepest sympathy to Charlie, Shari, and David. Old Conn Path won't be the same without her and I will miss her. Ellen McBrien Courchene

Sue was a long-time volunteer for the Wayland Council on Aging. She was a caring, dedicated volunteer who always had a smile and a kind word. She continued to volunteer until she didn't have the stamina to continue; she was an inspiration to all who knew her. Her fellow volunteers and the seniors who lives she touched will miss her dearly.

Sue was a wonderful sister-in -law to Joe and me, and a fabulous aunt to our children, Charlie, Lisa & William. We will treasure her memory always, and will sorely miss her at the holidays in Maine. She was a wise, wise woman.

My sincere condolensces to the family and friends of Sue Zaff, as I knew her through our school days at the Alexander Hamilton School. We recently connected after 60 years, and spent a few days reminiscing over class pictures. Our days together were too few, but brought back a friendship that will always be remembered.
