McCARTHY, Thomas F. Of Waltham, March 8, 2011. Husband of the late Florence J. (Micelli) McCarthy, Father of Jeanne M. Finley of St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, Kathleen R. McCarthy of Newport, Rhode Island, Eileen F. Lowe of Waltham, MaryAnn Stack of Moorestown, New Jersey, John A. McCarthy of Waltham, William G. McCarthy of Bedford, and Therese M. McCarthy of Waltham. Brother of Francis McCarthy of Dorchester, Mary Harris of Quincy, Eileen Batakis of Worcester and the late Evelyn Burke-Lidkea and Arthur McCarthy. Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Family and friends will honor and remember Tom's life by gathering for calling hours in The Joyce Funeral Home, 245 Main Street (Rte.20), WALTHAM, on Friday, March 11th, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and again at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning before leaving in procession to Saint Mary's Church, 133 School Street, Waltham where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham.
