Bill had a larger than life persona. Whenever I saw him, he made me smile.
He always lent a hand without asking and always had your back. He is truly a hero in my eyes. He battled this disease with dignity and strength.
I will miss you,my friend. May you finally be the free spirit I know you always were! My condolences go out to the families and know that Bill will always be in my heart.

My deepest sorrow to Karen and to Bill's family. Bill was a kind and caring person and the world was better because he was in it. Bill was a good friend and a good listener for me over the years, and I cherished his friendship.
Although I know that it was his time, he will be dearly missed.

My heart weeps, for the loss of Bill, he always will stand in my memories and a kind, and willing soul. From the grill, to his love of sports, to the quality of people always found gathered around him, he was special. He could find a way to bring a grin to the face of everyone he interacted with, no matter what the circumstances. His edgy humor was readily shared, people always wanting more. We all walk a sadder and more empty earth, now that this great soul is beyond us, never more seen, except in the reflections of our memories. Such a well-loved man is a rare treasure, and we are blessed for having him touch our lives, for the moments we had. Having felt so much of his shared love and time, so much more will we miss him in our lives. Wherever he may be, I'm sure that there always will be more smiles, and good times, even if it is simply in the reflection of his shared memories, amongst those of us who knew him so well.

Go in peace, my dear friend. You will be missed.

My sincere condolences go out to Karen and Bill's family. Bill was truly one of the nicest people I have ever known, and one of my favorite co-workers. He made a less than desireable job situation bearable for me at one point in my career, and always reminded me that no matter what, I could not let what others thought get to me. Although I know he is in a better place now it breaks my heart to know that he is gone. He will truly be missed.
