ATAMIAN, Zaven Y. 90, of Vista, CA, May 31, 2009. It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our dear Father. He had a photographer's eye, an artist's hand and an engineer's mind. He loved the sun and the beach. He enjoyed golf, beach volleyball and horseshoes into his eighties, spending 20 of the last 25 years following the sun between San Diego, CA and Perth, W. Australia. Loving father of Louis C. Atamian and wife Wendy of W. Newton, MA, and Linda E. Atamian of Watertown, MA. Loving grandfather of Michelle Wallace and Jennifer Atamian of W. Newton, MA. Former husband of Helen P. (Proia) Atamian of Watertown, MA. Dear brother of Joan Bodin of Cardiff, CA. Preceded in death by his dear brother, Armand Atamian, and dear sister, Alice Casarjian. He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. We are grateful we had him so long and he is dearly missed. In lieu of flowers we ask that you consider an act of kindness towards yourself or another, or making amends with someone. Life is short.
