It was 75 ted wilkiams baseball camp and he was giving a clinic on pitching. I was 13. He had a kid go up and stand in batters box. He then threw a ball right down the middle. Then he had another kid stand in other bow and threw another strike. He then had them keep stepping closer and he kept throwing strikes. They could have kissed each other and they were terrified but george threw it right between them. He was teaching about being confident on the mound. I'll always remember that. I became especially close to George C his father at that camp.
