MUSETTI, Renato D. "Ray" Of Watertown, August 3, 2016. Born in Rutland, VT, May 3, 1924, he was the son of the late Daniel and Josephine (Paolucci) Musetti. Beloved husband of 65 years of Angelina V. " Angie" (Costa) Musetti. Loving father of Donna Papalia and her husband John of Katonah, NY, Daniel Musetti and his partner Mary Ann Fennah of Watertown and Diane Campedelli and her husband Dominic of Cohasset. Cherished Nono of Lynne ( Papalia) Cabiati and husband Paul, Alyson and Daniel Papalia, Laura, Melissa, Sara and Joseph Campedelli, Lisa and Maria Cappellucci. Adored Big Nono of Ryan and Lucas Cabiati Dear brother of Dea Chipman and the late Clarice Althea Gnerre, Bruno and Guy Musetti Also survived by sister-in-law Maddy Musetti. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews. A recipient of the Purple Heart, Ray was a decorated World War II veteran. Retiring as Postmaster, Ray worked over 35 years for the USPS. Elected as a Councilor at Large to the inaugural Watertown Town Council, Ray served five terms. He was an active and untiring member of many community groups including Past Commander American Legion Post 99, Past Distinguished President Watertown Kiwanis Club, Lodge Piave Fiume #1036, Waltham-Watertown Lodge #953, the DAV, and the AMVETS. Funeral from the DeVito Funeral Home, 761 Mt Auburn St., WATERTOWN, Monday morning at 10:00 followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 in St. Jude Parish, 147 Main St, Waltham. Interment to follow Ridgelawn Cemetery. Visiting hours at the funeral home Sunday 3:00 to 8:00. In lieu of flowers, donations in Ray's memory may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
