My deepest condolences to the family. I worked for Camille and his partners as a law clerk in the early 1990s, and the experience was one of the best and most influential of my life. I am grateful to Camille for the opportunity. He was always generous and a gentleman to me. RIP, Camille.

An elegant man from the days when being a gentleman at all times was the norm, and expected of well educated men who wore the cloak of dignity everyday. He demanded the best from our legal profession; accepted no less from himself nor others who have been given the rare opportunity to bear the titles of Attorney, Councilor, and Esquire. He was a consummate teacher at all times whether inside or outside the classroom, and a wonderful mentor to so many of us who had the distinct pleasure of knowing him. I had the unique opportunity on a number of occasions to see him in action at a profession he loved and respected all his life. It didn't take long for me to figure out who Camille Sarouff really was. He was not a solicitor in his style of lawyering, he was much more than that. He was a Barrister. And for those of us who know the difference, there are very few Barristers in our worthy profession of law, but plenty of Soliciters. He was one of few left out of the ranks of the old school of true practitioners of law. He reminded me a bit of a character once portrayed by the late, distinguished artist, Sir Charles Laughton, who played the role of a famous English Barrister in the movie "Witness for the Prosecution". You will be remembered by all of us who had the good fortune to have known you Professor. Your former client, colleague and friend Jo Anthony Feeney, Esquire
