John Antonuk Obituary

ANTONUK, John Of Tewksbury, & West Palm Beach, FL, formerly of Arizona, died unexpectedly Jan. 5 in FL. WW II Veteran of the U.S. Navy, and the oldest of five brothers to serve concurrently during WW2. Retired from Maintenance Dept. Babson College. He was the husband of the late Sophie Antonuk, and the late Joanna Antonuk, and son of the late Samuel and Lynna Antonuk. He is survived by a brother, Philip Antonuk with whom he had resided for the past 6 years in Tewksbury and Florida; a sister-in-law, Mary (Pecola) Antonuk of Billerica; and several nieces and nephews. He was also brother of the late Joseph Antonuk, Michael Antonuk, and James Antonuk, who was killed in England during WW II; and brother-in-law of the late Florence (Yurewicz) Antonuk, and Olga (Schuster) Antonuk. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 10, at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Ukrainian Church, 146 Forest Hills Street, Boston, MA. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Boston. Visiting hours Friday 5 to 7 p.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of Dewey and Main Sts. (Rte 38) TEWKSBURY. Mr. Antonuk,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and also for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
