Of Malden May 16, 2008. Devoted husband of 62 years to Elizabeth (Campea) Kierstead. Beloved father of Marjorie Godding & her husband Paul of Malden & Mary L. Kierstead & her husband Michael Weiss of Malden. Brother of Dorothy McNeil, William Kierstead, Louise Gallo & the late Fred & George Kierstead, Lee Casta & Florence Stoddard. Cherished grandfather of Michael Godding & his wife Diane & Gregory Weiss Kierstead. Great grandfather of Mikayla & Tyler Godding. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Funeral from the A.J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main St. Malden on Tuesday May 20th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Sacred Hearts Church 297 Main St. Malden at 10:00am. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4-7pm. Interment Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden. Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served in the USN during WW II and for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.
