Of Chelsea, on July 2. Beloved husband of Cecelia (Reeves) Slater. Devoted father of James Slater and his wife Saundra of Topsfield, Peter Slater and his wife Gena of Mt. Vernon, NY. Cherished grandfather of Katrina and Ronan Cheng-Slater. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late John J. Slater. Survived by his wife Natalie Slater of Lynnfield. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are most kindly invited to attend the Funeral from the Frank A. Welsh & Son's Funeral Home, 718 Broadway, CHELSEA on Tuesday, July 8, at 10:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea at 11:00 A.M. Services will conclude with Interment in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visiting hours will be held at the Welsh Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8 P.M.
