Of Lexington, formerly of Arlington. June 14, 2010. Beloved husband of Muriel (Shea) Loving father of Timothy and his wife Deborah of Nashua, NH and Steven of
Raymond. ME. Devoted grandfather of Jessica and Timothy. Brother of Bernadette Preston of
Revere, Paul and his wife Theresa of Nashua, NH, and the late John Dacey. Brother in law of Anne Dacey of Las Vegas, NV. Eugene is also survived by many loving nieces & nephews. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt.60,adjacent to St. Agnes Church) ARLINGTON on Friday 9 am. Funeral Mass in St. Eulalia's Church Winchester at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 pm.
Burial in Westview Cemetery in Lexington. Late WW II Navy veteran. Eugene was retired Post
Master for the Commonwealth of MA and lifelong member of the American Legion in Arlington. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 7020 AC Skinner Pkwy, Suite 100, Jacksonville, FL 32256. For obituary, directions or to send a

Fond memories of Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts with the Dacey Family - Gene was my Eagle Scout sponsor and I still wear with pride the Eagle belt buckle he gave to me when I finally earned it.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news. I remember having burgers and beans on Saturday night at the Dacey's all through high school. Those were such good times.
