Thank God for yours being the voice of compassion and light at the darkest time of my life. I met with you only once; but, you cut through my tale of woe and asked me about my drinking and suggested i go to AA and because you told me that it was the most spiritual place you had ever been, I just had to see that for myself. Your advice saved my life, rekindled my spirit and has given me a life beyond my wildest dreams. I will never forget you-- you are part of my story and all the women I've been able to sponsor since I got sober. One pebble... so many ripples.

Father Nick, you led the "buona vita" (the name of your sailboat). You led many of us to living well no matter what the winds of time blew on us. My wife, Emily, and I were blessed to have had you officiate at our wedding. You have guided us along to the "buona vita". May you receive your eternal reward from our Loving Father. May you rest in His peace and love.

Fr. Nick,
Jesus came to "personally" take you home, to "honor" you for a job well done.

Dear Nick

If anyone owes you a debt of gratitude it would be me. I was a teenager when we started counseling. I do not know where those 35 years went. You gave me advice, compassion and clarity with so many confusing issues I had to deal with. You gave me a family that I will have forever. I believe things happen for a reason. I am truly blessed I had you in my life through good times and some bad times. I will love you forever. You were an amazing human being and one of the smartest individuals I have ever met. R.I.P Nick.

I admired over the years how many different ways you found to breathe life and hope and courage into people's lives, which many of whom thought not possible until they met you.
