AGNES CONNELL Obituary

Connell, Agnes Age 98, of Dorchester, MA died peacefully on March 1, 2014 at the Bostonian Nursing & Rehabilitation Center where she resided for many years. Born 1915 in County Kerry Ireland, she was a survivor of the London Blitz during WWII and immigrated to the United States in 1963. She retired from the Kemper Insurance Company in Boston where she worked as a clerk for many years. The beloved sister of Ann McKenna of Ireland, Agnes was the loving Aunt of Ms. Elizabeth Galbreath of New Smyrna Beach FL, Mr. Robert Cummings of North Branch, NJ, Mr. & Mrs. Richard Cummings of Rowley MA, Ms. Anne Dwyer of Boston, MA, Mr. Francis Dwyer of W. Roxbury, MA and Mr. Daniel Dwyer of Queens NY; and is also survived by many great nephews, nieces, and friends. Viewing for family & friends will be held in the back of Saint Marks Parish Church 1725 Dorchester Ave, Dorchester on March 13 from 9 to 10am immediately followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am. Burial is at Cedar Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Agnes to Saint Marks Parish Church.
