JEFFREY B. ARRUDA

ARRUDA, Jeffrey B. Patrolman Taunton Police Department, 38 years old died unexpectedly at his home on March 27, 2014. Born in Taunton son of Kenneth and Donna (Alcorn) Arruda. Jeff is the husband on Jennifer (White) Arruda. Educated in Taunton Schools Jeff received his Associate Degree from Fisher College, his BS from Salem State University and his Masters in Criminal Justice from UMASS Lowell. Jeff has been a member of the Taunton Police Department for the past 14 years, with the last 9 being on the active force. He served in the US Army being discharged in 1998. He was very proud to be third generation Army. He enjoyed travelling, sports and playing LEGOs with his son. Besides his wife and parents of Taunton Jeff is the father Jacoby Arruda of Taunton and the brother of Jason Arruda and his wife Nicole of NH. He is the son in law of Dee Dee Lewis of Medford and Gary Lewis of Reading and the brother in law of Donnie White and his wife Deanne of NH and Christopher Lewis of NH. He is also survived by his grandfather Antone Arruda of Taunton, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours on Wednesday April 2, 2014 in the Crapo-Hathaway Funeral Home, 350 Somerset Ave., (Route 138 South) TAUNTON, from 10 AM to 1PM with a Prayer Service at 1PM.
