I cannot tell you how sorry I was to hear the news of Lee's passing. He fought so hard. He loved his family.
I knew Lee when we were very young and even though we had not seen each other for many years our friendship remained.
He will be remembered fondly by so many.
May God be with you.

Lee was much more than my college roommate, he was more like a brother. Though we hadn't seen each other in years, I still felt that strong bond in my communications with him. I was so sad to hear of his passing and Sheryl and I send our love and support to Sheri and Jamie and family.

Dr. Lee Kaufman was an amazing man, mentor and friend of myself, my mother, aunts and grandmother. He was a shining face to talk to and always there to help. He did anything he could to provide advice to me or my family. Always gave huge hugs and welcomed you with a warm loving smile. I will never forget the long talks you would have with me in my teenage years up until 2011. You treated me as I was your own family member and I will never forget that. You cared truly about what was going on in my life as well as my family's and we always were so happy to come into your office and see you. You spoke often of your love for your wife Sheri and daughter Jamie. Although I only spent a few times seeing them I always pictures them to be as if they were movie stars, glamorous and all. I remember you offering to buy me lunch or "please just take it and get something good" just like I was your own family. I have been so blessed to know you and your kind spirit. You gave me so much advice on life that I will not forget. Your office will forever hold all of the kind and giving gestures you gave to all of the patients in Massachusetts. There isn't a time I don't pass the office and think of you and the staff (my grandma). Much love and thoughts to Sheri and Jamie. Always with love, Brianna Mansfield Beauregard
