WILLIAM R. SHISLER

Shisler, William R. 89, of Windham, NH, died Tuesday May 26, 2015 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born in Eugene, OR on February 5, 1926, a son of the late Constance Shisler. He had been a resident of Windham for the past 40 years, formerly living in Needham, MA. William was a WWII Army veteran. He received his Bachelor degree in violin and his Masters degree in viola, both from New England Conservatory of Music. William had been employed as the music librarian for the Boston Symphony Orchestra from 1957-2014. He is survived by his son, Jonathan Shisler of Catlett, VA. He was predeceased by his wife Carol (Baum) Shisler in 2011, his daughter Jennifer Dawne, and his two brothers, Robert Shisler and Warren Shisler.
