Raymond T. Waldron Sr.

WALDRON Raymond T., Sr., 77, of North Fort Myers, FL and resided in Newbury, MA for the summer months, died June 9, 2010 of heart failure. Born in Yonkers, NY and graduated from Sacred Heart High School. Married Joan Boyd of Newburyport, MA, who he met while serving in the U.S. Naval Reserve. Loving father of Barbara Courtney of Jupiter, FL, Raymond T. Waldron Jr. of Winsted, CT, and Cindy Ferranti of Torrington, CT. Cherished grandfather of John Otto of New Bern, NC, and Raymond Osterhoudt of Torrington, CT. Loving great grandfather of John Raymond Otto of New Bern, NC. Ray sang in the Sacred Heart Men’s Choir in Yonkers, NY and the Friendly Sons of Saint Patrick Glee Club, and later with the Danbury CT chapter of the Barbershop Quartet Society. He was employed by Nabisco Brands for thirty-four years and retired in 1989. Ray will be cremated and placed in a niche at Coral Ridge Cemetery in Cape Coral, Florida next to his beloved wife Joan who passed away in 2004. Services will be private. Boston Harborside Home J.S.
