Diane Esther Yankelevitz of Bozeman died on May 27, 2010, of a stroke. She was 67 years old. A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 4, 2010, at Congregation Beth Shalom in Bozeman.

Diane was born in Baltimore on Dec. 7, 1942, to Hilda and Paul Miller. She married Kenneth Stanley Yankelevitz on Feb. 6, 1964. She graduated from the University of Maryland in 1964. She and her husband Ken had moved from Long Beach, Calif., to Bozeman in 2005 to retire in this beautiful mountain community. Fortunately, during their time in Bozeman they made many friends and joined Congregation Beth Shalom, the reform Jewish temple of Bozeman.

Diane was involved with the Bozeman Senior Center and the Newcomer's Club of Bozeman. She was a facilitator of family constellations and business constellations, an evolutionary astrologer, a certified clinical hypnotherapist and a certified hypnotherapeutic regression specialist. She was also a practitioner of Feng Shui and Reiki energy balancing.

Diane is survived by her husband, Kenneth; daughter, Joanne Herdrich and husband Brian of Santa Barbara, Calif.; daughter, Lynne Given and husband Andrew of Eugene, Ore.; grandchildren, Chloe Herdrich, Jessica Herdrich, Kelsey Inskeep-Given, Riley Given; sister, Adele Taube and husband Bernie Taube of Ellicott City, Md.; and sister, Carol Fradkin and husband Gary of Nashville, Tenn.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Congregational Beth Shalom, Reform Jewish Temple, 2010 W. Koch St. Bozeman, MT 59718.
