Barbara Hall Obituary

Barbara Ann (Bauman) Hall, passed away on Dec. 30, 2014, at home in Bozeman. Barb was born on Oct. 10, 1935, in Great Falls, Mont. and graduated from Fergus County High School in 1953. After graduation she worked in Lewistown and Chicago, returning to Lewistown to marry her high school sweetheart, Bud Hall, on July 22, 1956. After they were married, Bud and Barb moved to Bozeman so Bud could attend school at Montana State College. In Bozeman, Barb worked as a bookkeeper at Rolfe and Wood and Gambles. After the birth of her third child, she decided to become a full-time homemaker. Barb had many hobbies, but bridge was her passion. She was involved in numerous bridge groups over the years, where she made many lifelong friends. She was also a voracious reader, cribbage player and crossword puzzle solver as well as an ardent Bobcat football fan. She loved to travel with her family, and New York City and Sweden were amongst her favorite places to visit. She was a wonderful mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was full of love for everyone around her and never spoke an unkind word. She always looked on the bright side of things even when faced with adversity and had a positive attitude until the very end.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, Duke and Ot Bauman; brother, Don Bauman; sister-in-law, Liz Bauman; and her beloved husband, Bud Hall in June 2014. Barb is survived by her son, Greg (Dena) Hall of Bozeman; daughter, Jill (David) Templeton of Helena; and daughter, Jane (Brian) Antonioli also of Helena; her grandchildren, Matthew (Amber) Hall, Season Hall and her son Kaden, Ty Peres, Hannah Antonioli and Sam Antonioli; her brother, Dick Bauman of Deer Lodge; sister, Myrna (Dick) Mintyala of Moore; brother, Doug (Charla) Bauman of Stevensville; sister, Leslie (Jim) Barnett of Lewistown; and brother, Joe (Laurie) Bauman of Eddies Corner; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews; and many treasured friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made in Barb's name to the Bozeman Senior Center, 807 N. Tracy Ave., Bozeman, MT 59715 or a charity of your choice.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Grace Bible Church in Bozeman with a reception immediately following at the Hilton Garden Inn.

Mom, as hard as it is to say goodbye, we are comforted in knowing that you and Dad are together again.

To Barb's family: I am a cousin also of
the Alan Odden family.I remember many times when we were young with Barb and brother Don. Enjoyed seeing Barb recently at Bunny's home for a mini-reunion of cousins on both sides of the Johnson/Odden families. So sorry for your loss. She was always a sweetheart in my books.
