Hazel Holtzclaw Obituary

Hazel Marie Griffith "Gechie" Holtzclaw passed away December 11, 2011 in Bradenton, Fla. She was 87 years old. Born in Jenkins, Ky, she was a 42 year resident of Bradenton.As was her wish, her remains were cremated and her ashes will be scattered at a later date.She was preceded in death by her loving sister, Reable Griffith Tinsley.She is survived by her daughter Sammie Lee Hatcher and son-in-law BGen (Ret) Walter T. Hatcher III, of Eatonton, Ga. and her daughter Jeanne Marie Holtzclaw of Bristol, Va.; her granddaughter Jennifer Leigh Wilson, Walter T. Hatcher IV, and Michael Nobles; great granddaughter Marjorie Wilson, Payton Wilson, and Haley Nobles; two neph-ews, Dr. Tuck Tinsley III and Thomas Griffith Tinsley; two grandnephews, three grandnieces, two great grandnieces and one great grandnephew, many extended relatives and numerous friends.
