Julian Orive Obituary
Julian was born on May 17, 1966, in Brownsville to Julian Sr. and Aurora G. Orive. He will be remembered as a person who had a big heart, who was caring and giving. He enjoyed playing board games with his children and making them laugh. He will be missed dearly by those that were fortunate to have known him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Berta Orive; a daughter, Julianne Orive; a son, Samuel Julian Orive; his parents; his brothers, Edwardo (Ninfa) Orive and Samuel (Yolanda) Orive; his sisters, Lydia (David) Treviño, Irma (Ricardo) Marcos, Susana (Rosendo) Garcia, Adita (Joe) Lucio and Febe Orive; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation will begin today, Wednesday, July 27, at 1 p.m., and continue until 9 p.m., with a prayer service to begin at 7 p.m., in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 28, in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Samuel G. Orive, David Edward Garza, Joe Reyes, Jason Trevino, Fernando Garza and Josue Nathan Garcia.
Honorary pallbearer is Edwardo Orive.

It's a shock to hear that my good friend Julian has past on cause, it seems as if it was just yesterday that we said our goodbyes. What a great man and friend he was. My condolences go out to The Orive family.

My deepest condolences to the Orive Family. I went back in the day when we attended Hann High and the first thing that I will always remeber is that smile and the love he had for Bert. Always will be remembered in the halls of HANNA HIGH AND IN OUR HEARTS. RIP Julian.

My sincere condolences to the Orive family in the passing of JR. I will remember JR as the good hearted person he was. Jr was blessed with the Holy Spirit and a gift from God to preach his word.
