Calvin Lust Obituary
SYCAMORE: Calvin A. Lust, age 91 of 1742 Orr Road, Sycamore, Ohio died at 9:30 P.M., Saturday, November 21 ,2015 at Wyandot Memorial Hospital due to complications from a car accident
He was born on October 26, 1924 in Lykens, Ohio to George E. and Mabel C. (Brause) Lust. He married Mary K. (Walter) Lust on August 15, 1948 and she survives.
Surviving are the following children: Ronald (Becky) Lust, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Carol (Kenny) Burger, New Washington, Ohio, Gloria (Kevin) Studer, rural Sycamore, Ohio, Duane (Jill) Lust, Bucyrus, Ohio, Dwight (Patty) Lust, rural Sulpher Springs, Ohio and John Lust, Elwood, Pennsylvania; also surviving are the following grandchildren, Amanda Lust-Theis, Katy Pilson, Leslie Aslan, Kim Browne, Dawn Daubenspeck, Amy Clay, Heather Studer, Justin Studer, Steve Studer,Joseph Studer, Kyle Studer, Angela Truka, Elizabeth Cassell, Kayla Lust, Brandon Lust, Brittany Lust, Jackie Lust, Dianna Temple, Emily McLaughlin, Daniel Martin, Derek Lust, Devin Lust plus 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, Orrin Lust, Upper Sandusky, Ohio; and one sister, Alice Mae (Don) Heiber, Bloomville, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Sarah Studer, one brother, Luther Lust, one sister, Kathryn Breidenbach plus his parents.
Calvin was a life long farmer, a member of St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ where he was a former consistory member at the church, was a graduate of McCutchenville High School and also attended Heidelberg College and was a former Lykens Township Trustee.
Funeral services for Calvin will be held on Saturday, November 28 ,2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ with the Rev. Robert F. Haskins officiating. Burial will follow across the road at St. John's Baseline Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 3:00-7:00 P.M. at the Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio and also on Saturday, November 28,2015 from 10:00-11:00 A.M. at the church prior to the funeral service.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ, St. Jude's Children Hospital or the Donor's choice in care of Walton-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 350, Sycamore, Ohio 44882.
