Monte--my sincerest sympathy to you and your family. I was in Hospice with you and your family when I lost my wife Maureen on July 3rd to Breast Cancer. We met and immediately became friends. Believe me when I say I know how you are feeling. Please send me an E-mail so we can talk.

My sincerest sympathy goes to Cheryl's family....especially to Jonathan. (I used to study with your mother back in the late 70s/early 80s and used to babysit you.)
I have such incredible memories of Cheryl. She was such an inspiration to me in so many ways...musically, intellectually, spiritually. She was a lover of life and helped her students learn how to take risks both musically and in their own lives. Cheryl was always there for advice and guidance over a cup of tea. She was an amazing and generous woman who gave so much to her students and friends. The musical foundation she provided me in flute is still with me. I moved to Cincinnati in 1990 and unfortunately lost contact with her. She was so talented and such an inspiration to everyone.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time,
Lauren

Dear Gobetti Hoffman and Feyrer Family,
Cheryl was my teacher many years ago. I hate to admit this, but Jonathan was just a baby at the time. As a young girl with little confidence, she made a huge impression on me. Although I was only 16, I knew even then that she was an absolutely amazing individual. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Cheryl brought so much to her family, friends, and students and will be missed. Her battle with cancer was inspirational to all who knew her as we fight our own battles in life. May she be at rest, at last.
