My sincerest sympathy goes to Cheryl's family....especially to Jonathan. (I used to study with your mother back in the late 70s/early 80s and used to babysit you.)

Cheryl was a sweet, kind, lovely person and wonderfully talented. I can still see and hear her performing in my mind's eye. These beautiful memories remain with us all. My love and sincere sympathy to Monte and family.

The beauty of Cheryl's music was reflective of her life and influence on others. As a performer and teacher she had a wonderful and lasting affect on thousands of people. To her life, we say Bravo! To her family, we extend our heartfelt sympathy.

Dear Gobetti Hoffman and Feyrer Family,

Cheryl was my teacher many years ago. I hate to admit this, but Jonathan was just a baby at the time. As a young girl with little confidence, she made a huge impression on me. Although I was only 16, I knew even then that she was an absolutely amazing individual. I'm so sorry for your loss.

From the University at Buffalo Office of News Services -- We read and wrote so often about Cheryl's beautiful performances and know how deeply respected and loved she was. Our condolences to her family and friends.

Our deepest sympathy. A wonderful person a brilliant musician and a credit to her field.
