HOOVEN-Jerome J., Sr. "Jerry" March 17, 2007, beloved husband of Agnes Schubring Hooven; dear father of Jerome (Nancy), Maureen (Bill) Siska, Michael (Liz), Susan (Dan) Mulhern and Barbara Hooven; loving grandfather of Bill and Megan Siska, Tom and Kelly Hooven, Stephanie and Rachel Mulhern, Mike, Sarah and Lauren Hooven. Friends may call Monday 6-9 and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the DENGLER & ROBERTS FUNERAL HOME, 8630 Transit Rd., E. Amherst (one mile north of Maple, just past Klein Rd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at St. Benedict's Church, Main St. at Eggert Rd., Eggertsville, Wednesday morning at 10 AM. Please assemble at church. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Benedict's Church or Hospice Buffalo. Mr. Hooven was a U.S. Navy Veteran during the Korean War, past President of The Amherst Central Lions Club and The Buffalo Passenger Association, a member of St. Benedict's Holy Name, Amherst AMVETS Post #49 and a Manager for AAA of Western & Central New York.
