Dear Kathy and Pete's family,
I am so grateful that I got to get reacquainted with my cousin Pete and his family before he died. It had been over 50 years that I had last seen Pete. He was only a little boy then. His Mother Mary was my father's sister. They both died fairly young. May Pete Rest In Peace and have fun up there in Heaven with your large extended family. Love Cousin Katie Smith Harrison

Words cannot express how sad I am when I think about all of Petes family I know yall miss him terribly.... He was a wonderful friend to me for many years & I miss his sweet, funny ways!!!!
He now has his baby girl with him & Im sure theyre watching over all of us left behind .... Hugs to yall n butterfly kisses

Daddy Dear, Well now you can begin a new journey of eternal life. I know I miss your smile, laugh, soft tone voice and your hugs & kisses but I believe you are still taking care of all of us. I feel your presence and know you & I will meet again. You were such a loving, patient & caring Father. I am sure you are with your Heavenly Father. I am so proud to say you & I always loved one another & you loved Cody & Dawson so much.They adored you & you were always so patient & taught them so much. I am glad you are watching over me & the boys because we need you. I talk to you and I can hear what you would say if you were here. I miss you here on earth but I look forward to meeting you in Heaven where we will live forever with no hurt or pain. That's when we'll sing and dance to Daddy's Little Girl & Amazing Grace. The following prayer describes the way Peter lived his life, shared his life and how many of us now remember him.
A Simple Prayer
by St. Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
Where there is hatered . . . let me sow love.
Where there is injury . . . pardon.
Where there is discord . . . unity.
Where there is doubt . . . faith.
Where there is error . . . truth.
Where there is despair . . . hope.
Where there is sadness . . . joy.
Where there is darkness . . . light.
Oh, Divine Master, grant the I may not so much seek;
To be consoled . . . as to console.
To be understood . . . as to understand.
To be loved . . . as to love.
For:
It is in giving . . . that we receive.
It is is pardoning . . . that we are pardoned
And it is in dying . . . that we are born to eternal life.
May the love of Jesus Christ fill the void which is left by Peter being called to his eternal home. He will always be remembered and loved by us!

So sorry to hear about your"Dad"...I know he was and always will be a special person. One thing I have learned during these past two years is Hold on to your memories because they will get you through this rough time...Remember memories never die they live forever in our hearts...Sorry I could not be there, we just got back from Seattle.. I am so very sorry to hear about Pete. We were, as you may remember, best friends at Maryvale. We shared many great times together fishing, hunting, and boating. It breaks my heart to have lost track of Pete over the years. Your brother was a very good man and I an very sorry for your loss.

Our sympathy goes out to you. Pete was a great guy. I have many fond memories of hanging out at the house and Pete taking the time to teach us so many things. Even though it has been many years, those memories have always stayed with me. He will never be forgotten and may he rest in peace.

I cant say in enough words how much I love uncle peter and aunt kathy. If you want to know who true family is. Its uncle peter. My heart aches to know that he is gone but will never be forgotten. He was loved by so many people. he was kind , warm and so outgoing and thoughtful. He once told me that family comes first . Made you laugh even when you were sad. I am always going to remember the memories i have had. I love you so much uncle peter and I promise you that you never will be forgotten. All my kids loved you and loved to come camping and see you . You are the best. God bless you Kathy and family. He is at peace now with god. Its going to be very hard for me but in time I know that he is in a better place.

Hi Kathy & family, It was so wonderful to have you all at the Smith reunion this summer. I am so grateful that we found you after all these years.
