PECK - Lillian B. (nee Dorywalski) August 7, 2012, of Cheektowaga, NY, beloved wife of the late Eugene R. Peck; dearest mother of Cathie Gallo and Brian (Charlene) Peck; dear grandmother of Jenna Gallo, Alicia (Scott) Johnson, Michael Peck and great-grandmother of Nathan and Tyler; also survived by nieces and nephews. Family will be present to receive relatives on Friday 3-8 PM at the MELVIN J. SLIWINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 5090 Transit Road (south of Como Park Blvd.). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday in Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta Parish, 496 Terrace Blvd., Depew at 9:30 AM (please assemble at church) Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Lillian was deeply devoted to her Lord and Savior and was the foundress of 1st Friday Perpetual Adoration at both St. James and Resurrection Churches. She was a long time member of the Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary and served many years on the Executive Board. Lillian served her churches as a Eucharistic Minister and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of St. John. She also served on the Pastoral Council of her church and was a long time member of the church choirs. As much as Lillian loved to sing, she also would never pass up the opportunity to break into a joyous country line dance. Her love of gardening was most evident in all her lovely plants, especially her beautiful roses. She loved her little dog, Josh, and will be laid to rest with him. Flowers gratefully declined.
