I always remember CJ as a family man, along with his loving wife Tracey. It hardly seems possible he´s been gone over ten years now. But his memory won´t ever fade. Light and love to Tracey, Mars, Alice and Ian

Heard a Green Jello song today and thought of you, still saddened by your passing, grateful to have known you my childhood friend, will never forget you or your great talent that started in the garage on the corner of Glencove & Bayard, thank you for walking to school with me and inviting me over to watch you play, I will forever remember you riding your bike up the street with your little white poodle Bonnie in the basket with spaghetti sauce on her face, still makes me smile!

CJ, your memory will live on forever! I'm shocked and heartbroken you are no longer with us. You were my first true love, I always held a special place in my heart for you and will continue to forever. You are loved by so many people, you touched alot of hearts. You are one of the most kindest, talented, intelligent and free spirited people I have ever known. As hard as it is to say and believe, you are now in a better place. My heart goes out to your children you left behind and Tracey. I pray that they have much love and support and great memories to help get them through this tragic time. RIP CJ, PEACE, HUGS AND LOVE TO YOU, YOUR CHILDREN AND TRACEY AND ALL YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS YOU LEFT BEHIND. May you rock on in heaven!

Thinking of all the good times in high school orchestra, orchestra gym (buncha nerds beating the jocks in floor hocky).CJ was a good person who never looked down on the orchestra nerds:he was a class act. Sorry to hear of his passing. One more thing to remind us of how mortal we are and how short our time here really is.

My condolences to the family and friends for the loss of a wonderful, talented and memorable man and musician. He was truly a unique individual, besides his music (which will live on as long as there is utube...) I remember him to be kind and optimistic and fun. He will be missed not only by his loved ones, but by anyone who ever knew him. He was one of the few who followed his dreams and made them real. Cheers to you CJ ! Rest in Peace - or a rock on .... If there is a way to do that he will find it. Already his animated 3 Little Pigs video is becoming and favorite to yet another generation - 11 year old cheerleaders in NC, my grandchildren in Missouri and a couple of old ladies in NC who think he was/is amazing. Green Jello/Green Jelly awesome as it was, I will remain a Future History fan forever. Knowing how many others will miss him can no doubt keep his family from grieving, but when that passes, we are all blessed to have something of him that will never die.

This was taken at the Limelight in NYC in 1993 on the Green Jello US tour. CJ was a natural ROCKSTAR!

The last time I hanging out with Cj I was trying to convince him he needs to write a Christmas song and cited that 'grandma got run over by a rain deer' song. Cj chuckled and preceded to sing the whole thing and in a bunch funny different voices, for the next hour. At the time I was thinking I'm never gonna get Cj singing that song out of my head..Now I think to myself, I never wanna get Cj singing that song out of my head.

In the 1980's, when most of us were pumping gas, joining the Army or deciding on a career path, CJ was laying tracks for featured music videos and living the life that most could only dream of. Congratulations on a life well lived but gone way too soon. Your contributions to music will never be forgotten. May your legacy be an inspiration to others.

Green Jello anyone?
C.J. was an immensely talented musician who's name belongs on the Ken West wall of distinction. Back in the 1980's, (when MTV played music videos), I'd point to the TV and say "that's the dude who used to play assemblies in the Kenmore West auditorium." Rest in peace CJ.
