Coach Uram always had a gentle word of encouragement just when you needed it most. His life was like the pebble story, he touched so many lives that he couldn't see how far his ripples traveled. He was for sure my super hero

Paul was a great motivator and inspiration to all he came in contact with. I had him as a coach in Junior High. His son, Ron, worked for me at Hindman Transfer in the summers. Paul was a very humble man and will be missed by many. May God bless you all with His love, comfort and peace.

Coach Red Uram will be rememberd of course for his outstanding professional coaching record. But his greatest accomplishment is the positive impact he made on the minds and spirits of the young athletes he mentored.

Coach Uram was one of the finest persons I ever knew; a knowledgeable coach with a warm and personal approach. I first met him as a student of his at Lyndora School. His success with the gymnastics team and the Steelers is well known. Several times when we visited Butler, we had a chance to talk with him and Helen after Liturgy at St John's in Lyndora. He was always gracious and remembered us. God bless him !
