Shirley Ambroziak Obituary

Shirley A. Ambroziak, 64, of Butler, passed away Wednesday at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot.
She was born Jan. 26, 1953, in Butler, to Henry J. Walborn and Nancy J. Huselton Walborn.
Shirley graduated from Butler High School in 1971.
She worked in the dietary department at St. Barnabas. Shirley was a teacher at Butler Wesleyan Academy and a homemaker. She enjoyed crafting, traveling and most of all spending time with family.
Shirley is survived by her husband, Douglas J. Ambroziak, who she married Aug. 19, 1977; two sons, Timothy Ambroziak and his wife, Nicci, of Penn Hills, and Steven Ambroziak and his wife, Jamie, of Ellwood City; her parents, Henry J. and Nancy Walborn, of Butler; two brothers, Henry J. Walborn Jr. and his wife, Jody, of Chicora, and John Walborn, of Cabot; one sister, Patricia Best and her husband, Mike, of West Sunbury; her mother-in-law, Gloria Ambroziak, of Mars; one brother-in-law, David Ambroziak, of San Antonio, Texas; four nieces, Lisa Walborn, Kelly Stewart, Diane Robbins and Jennifer McPherson; and three nephews, Michael Best Jr., James Walborn and Jonathan Walborn.
She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Richard Ambroziak.
AMBROZIAK - Friends of Shirley A. Ambroziak, Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at ThompsonMiller Funeral Home, 124 E. North St., Butler.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Steve Cassidy of Punxsutawney Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment will take place at the Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Family Hospice and Palliative Care, 50 Moffett St., Pittsburgh, PA 15243 or Concordia Good Samaritan Hospice, 134 Marwood Road, Cabot, PA 16023.
