Thomas MORIMOTO Obituary

MORIMOTO, Thomas Eiichi, P.Eng
Born May 18, 1918 in Edmonton, AB and passed away peacefully on December 14, 2015 in Kelowna, BC at the age of 97. Thomas is survived by his loving wife H. Kim of 69 years; grandchildren Ariel and Danielle; great-grandchild Stanley; brothers Jack, William, George and many extended family and friends. Predeceased by son, Dana. Tom grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta, enlisted in WWII as a radio operator in the Third Canadian Divisional Signals. He graduated from the University Of Alberta in 1949 with his BSc in Chemical Engineering and in 1952 received his MSc. A celebration of life will be held on December 20, 2015 between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. at the Harvest Golf Club. 2725 KLO Rd. Kelowna. I wanted to say how TOM was held in such high regard here in England and at Foxhills Golf Club. His service in the Army was appreciated and his company and experience in life and business benefited all of us. God Bles Tom

Kim. I just saw that Tom passed away on December 14 and want you to know I am thinking of you and Tom and the times we had together so many years ago. Tom was a wonderful, energetic man and will be missed. My condolences to you and the family.

Dear Kim and family- I was so sorry to hear about Tom- the last time I saw you both was at Toms book signing in Calgary.
You have both held a special place In my (Rons)) hearts.
Both you and Tom treated us like family back in the 60's and we had many special times together through the years!

So sorry to hear of the passing of Tom. We enjoyed so much our many golf games together and sharing stories of times of old. He lived life to the fullest.
