1987 - 2012
Christopher Michael Turner passed away on August 25, 2012 at the age of 25 years. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Bob and Shelley Turner, his brother Ricky (Bonnie) and his grandparents Ken and Pauline Turner and Carole James. He will also be remembered by extended family members: Keith and Teresa Turner, Cindy Hart, Jane and Doug Kalynchuk, Duane and Tina Hart, Chris (Renee) Davis, Melissa (Dan) Hrituc, Tim Davis, Kailyn Stenhouse, Carrie Stenhouse, Caitlin Kalynchuk and many relatives in Canada and the UK. Christopher also leaves behind the love of his life, April Brown. He was predeceased by his cousin Andrew Turner. All of his life, Christopher loved and played soccer with his favourite team being from Liverpool. He was a recent graduate of University of Calgary Civil Engineering. He has given the gift of life through organ donation. A Celebration of Christopher's Life will be held at Lake Sundance Community Pavilion, 63 Suncrest Way S.E., Calgary at 2:00 p.m. on August 30, 2012. In lieu of flowers, please direct donations in Christopher's honour to Foothills ICU, 1403 - 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 2T9. SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE and CREMATORIUM (at Lake Fraser Gate). Chris was a stand-up guy and a great soccer player. It was a pleasure knowing him both on and off the pitch. :) My condolences to his family and friends.

Dear Turner Family,
I am very saddened to find out my old teammate Chris has passed on. I always looked up to him when we played together(with White Eagles and Blizzard Imperials). He had that infectious inspiration that made everyone around him better. He was an awesome teammate and a great person and will be sadly missed.

There are so many fond memories that you and I shared growing up together. The best memory I have is of you, Kris Hetmanchuck, the other kids on the "Green" and myself playing kick the can until the late hours of a school night!
