Im not sure if this message will make it to the family since it has been so long. But back at the end of March, beginning of April 2015, my husband, dog, and I went backpacking in the Little Belts of Montana. On our way out of the woods, we saw some downed trees that were VERY alarming. Lightning storm? Plane crash? Did we hear something unusual last night? Long story short, we eventually found the remnants of a plane crash. It was eerie and left us asking so many questions. We didn’t have cell service to learn what happened until we got closer to home in Bozeman MT. I know that it’s been MANY years since this happened, but I’d like to return something to the family that I recovered from the site of the crash. I’ve held onto it with intentions of sending it to you, but life happened and wow all of a sudden it’s 2023. My email is [email protected]. This isn’t spam. If you want to look me up, my married name is Rachel Savage and I currently live in Bessemer MI as an ER Nurse. (Ironic, I know). Im sorry that I’ve waited so long. I am just now watching a survival documentary about a plane crash that reminded me of Valerie.
